Mouse Interaction Behaviour

The Mouse Interaction behaviour will allow an object to respond to mouse events such as clicks, double-clicks, right clicks etc. This is one of the most commonly used behaviours in most Content Creator projects.

Mouse Interaction Behaviour Properties

Mouse event

The event to detect and respond to on the object.

Prevent focus

Whether to prevent mouse interaction with the object from passing keyboard focus to the object.

Go to page

The page to navigate to when the user performs the mouse interaction.

NOTE: This should not be set if Assess correct or Assess incorrect are set, instead the Assessment Settings for the page should define the page to navigate to.

Judge task

Whether the mouse interaction should trigger judgement of other interactions on the page (ie. act as a submit button for interactions).

Show objects

Multi-select list of objects to be shown when the mouse interaction is performed by the user.

Hide objects

Multi-select list of objects to be hidden when the mouse interaction is performed by the user.

Animate objects

Multi-select list of objects to be sent an animation start message when the mouse interaction is performed by the user.

Toggle

If objects are being shown or hidden, whether to toggle their visibility when the mouse interaction is performed subsequent times.

Assess correct

Whether performing the mouse interaction should result in the whole interaction being judged correct.

NOTE: This should not be set if Judge task is being used.

Assess incorrect

Whether performing the mouse interaction should result in the whole interaction being judged incorrect.
