The Content Creator Interface
The Content Creator Interface
Content Creator uses a standard Ribbon based application interface. The ribbon interface is complemented by dockable panels that can be pinned, unpinned and moved to suit the user's preferences.
Content Creator uses a dock-able panel interface. The screenshot, above, shows the default panel layout. The default layout will be reapplied each time you close and reopen Content Creator.
The following interface items are displayed in panels:
Each panel can be:
- Moved - Drag a panel to a new position using the panel title. As you drag, anchor icons will appear allowing you to snap the panel to a particular area of the screen. Releasing the panel without dragging it to an anchor will turn it into a "floating" panel.
- Pinned and Un-pinned - clicking the pin icon in a panel will unpin it.
- Clicking it again will pin it.
- When a panel is unpinned it will collapse so that it does not take up screen space until it is required.
- In it's unpinned state, a tab will be displayed containing the panel heading, moving over this tab will show the panel.
- Clicking the pin icon will re-pin the panel.
- Closed - clicking the Close button will close the panel. Use the View ribbon, Window group to re-open any closed panels.
