Config
The Config tab allows you to manage a list of custom Course Categories and Course Topics for use in your centre.
Categorising courses and grouping them into topics will help you and your delegates to find and manage them.
Administrators, Trainers and Supervisors can be associated with a particular course category if appropriate, see Editing User Roles.
To add a Course Category
- Click the New button at the top of the Manage Centre Course Categories list.
- Enter a category name into the Category field.
- Optionally, provide a Contact Email and Contact Phone number for this course category (to help identify the team responsible for managing it).
- Click Submit to add the category.
- Or click Cancel to close the form without adding.
To add a Topic
- Click the New button at the top of the Manage Centre Course Topics list.
- Enter a topic name into the Topic field.
- Click Submit to add the topic.
- Or click Cancel to close the form without adding.
Once Categories and Topics have been added, they can be selected when adding or editing a course.
