The Design Area

The Design Area is a visual representation of how the page will look in the browser.

The design area will show a preview of the following page features, if they have been added to the page:

  • The background image.
  • Objects (rollover / hover objects will be semi-transparent) unless the hide object toggle is selected in the Object List.
    • Objects are placed on the Design Area when they are first added to a page. The selected object will have a blue border to indicate that it is selected.
    • Objects can be moved by dragging them around the Design Area.
    • Objects can be resized on the design area by dragging their corners or sides.
  • The Instruction box and its instructions.
    • The instruction box can be moved by dragging it around the Design Area.

TIP: Whilst the Design Area gives a good indication of how your finished page will look, you should Preview your project to get a true impression of what your users will experience.
