The Password column on the All Delegates grid shows whether the user has set a password for their account.

A red circle shows that a password has not yet been set, while a green circle with a white tick shows that one has.

Setting a password is the first step in activating a delegate account and must be completed before a delegate can access learning.

NOTE: In some cases, passwords may not be set for delegates who have accessed learning. This will typically be for delegates who used the service under the IT Skills Pathway brand (prior to the Digital Learning Solutions rebrand).

When a delegate is registered by a centre administrator, they are usually sent a welcome email containing a link to set their password and activate their account.

If this email has not been sent, has not arrived or has been missed, the Manage Password button in the password column will allow an administrator to manually set a temporary password or send/resend the welcome email.

  • Locate the delegate and click the Manage Password button:
  • Click Send DLS Welcome Email to send the welcome email.
  • Or, use the Set password field to enter a temporary password and click Set.
